The Israeli occupation is the root cause of the Palestinian-Zionist conflict, Israeli violations committed against the Palestinian people are increasingly rising. Never the less; the United States government and Israeli occupation joined forces with Trump’s declaring Jerusalem the capital of the Israel, the attempt to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, and freeze of funding to UNRWA which is meant to put more pressure on the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian people.
In light of these disastrous conditions and continues expansion of illegal Israeli settlements and the continued illegal siege of the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Social Forum is organizing a central event at the World Social Forum in Brazil next month under the title “The colonial regime and ethnic cleansing in Palestine.”
During this even there will be awareness raising and debates focusing on the Palestinian national rights and the current challenges facing the Palestinian people, third states and International and regional responsibility towards supporting the Palestinian cause and increase solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The event will discuss a number of specialized research papers on various aspects of Palestinian rights:
